Geilolia has long experience with renting out cabins and apartments. You can find our reception at Geilolia Hyttetun in Vestlia, but all check-in and check-out takes place via our contactless key boxes. We have two key boxes depending on where you will be staying. If you are going to Geilolia Hyttetunet, you will find the key box at reception, and if you are going to Geilolia Ferieleiligheter or Slåttastølen, you will find the key box in Lienvegen 3 in the center of Geilo. No matter where you live, there is easy access to the ski centre, cross-country trails, hiking or shopping. Either if the trail is nearby or if the ski bus takes you there easily. We have different standards for our rental units, but all the units contain what you need to spend the night and the equipment to cook good meals. All our accommodations have parking and electric car parking on site or nearby. Geilo is a year-round travel destination and makes Geilo popular both in summer and winter. Welcome to us!

Geilolia Hyttetun (Forest cabins) consists of 37 cozy and well-equipped rental cabins with a high standard right next to the ski center and summer park in Vestlia. With 2-5 bedrooms and 4-12 beds, the cabins have plenty of space for families, companies, groups of friends and other groups. Relax in your own sauna after an active day outdoors and feel the calm settle down by the fireplace in the evening. The cabins are located in a quiet area just 1.5 kilometers from the center of Geilo.

Geilo is well known as one of the best ski resorts in Norway, well suited for families, beginners, and intermediate skiers. The area has lots of cross country terrain and offers a charming town center. Other winter activities such as dog sledding, fat bikes, tobogganing, sleigh rides, horseback riding and snowshoeing are also available. In summer Geilo offers hiking in the mountains surrounding the village. The national parks Hallingskarvet and Hardangervidda are very close neighbors. The area is also well known for its biking and fishing opportunities. If you want other exciting experiences, you can try white water rafting, horseback riding, high ropes courses, and an 1100 meter long zip line. A trip to Geilo can easily be combined with a trip to the fjords, just over an hour away by car.
