Kollen Slottet is a recently renovated antique house. The owner has dedicated herself to bring charm and comfort to this dormitory-style accommodation. You will also feel this fusion of past and modern times while enjoying the spaceous living room connected to the balcony with garden view. We have 10 private rooms with code locks, shared kitchen and bathrooms, that are modern and clean. Each floor of the house has kitchen, bathroom and toallet, meaning that just 5 rooms will be sharing the facilities. We also offer 1 Family Room with private batroom and 1 Family Apartment with private kitchen and bathroom. We are situated in a peaceful neighborhood close to nature and with short walk from Holmenkollen metro station, which takes only 20 minutes to reach downtown Oslo. Kollen Slottet is located just 150 meters away from the Holmenkollen ski jump. The hill is the most popular tourist attraction in Norway, it is the only hill in the world with a permanent wind screen built as part of the designed construction, and the only steel jump in the world. It is 375 m (1,230 ft) above sea level, what gives us an amazing view of the fjords. We are surrounded by the Norwegians woods, which means it's a silent neighborhood with easy walks in nature. The house is a short walk distance from Holmenkollen metro station, which takes only 20 minutes to reach downtown Oslo. Nearby you'll also find a supermarket and the Holmenkollen Restaurant.
