Surrounded by high, dramatic mountains, this cosy, hotel in central Hemsedal has 2 restaurants, free WiFi throughout the property. Guests enjoy convenient access to ski slopes and year-round outdoor attractions. Skogstad Hotel’s history goes back to 1905, and its bright, spacious guest rooms combine modern furnishings with traditional atmosphere. Each room is equipped with a work desk, flat-screen cable TV and private bathroom. Some rooms have a balcony. Open during the winter season, the Skogstad Bistro offers tapas and a selection of wines and cava, while Elgen Bar offers entertainment including darts board and a pool table. The Hemsedal area has plenty of ski slopes of all levels of difficulty. Summertime activities include hiking, fishing and golf.
