Welcome to our small,secluded island of Vassøy, just a 10-minute picturesque boat-ride from Stavanger city centre. In our newly refurbished vacation house you will find everything you need for a quiet, relaxing holiday - whether you choose to stay for only one night or for two weeks! The studio apartment is modern and stylish, and have all the amenities needed to have a comfortable stay, both for couples or a family with small children. Situated at the beach, you can catch your own fish and use the bbq to cook your own dinner - or you can opt for the full-pension alternative with excellent home cooking and a large selection of wines from our wine cellar. The garden has room for games and relaxation, and the roof terrace has a splendid view of the sea and mountains. The kitchen is well equipped, and at the local shop you will find all the basics you need.

We enjoy having guests at our house, and like to interact with them as needed. We can help you with transportation, planning excursions to local sites, or organize meals.

Vassøy is a small Island with approximately 700 inhabitants, situated about 10 minutes from the small, but international city of Stavanger. You can bring your car on the car-ferry, or jump on the fast-ferry which will take you the city centre in a idyllic way between the numerous islands in the calm fjord. There are several small beaches on Vassøy within walking distance from our house, as well as tranquil hiking paths and quiet woods where you can meet roe deer and birds. Grab a fishing rod and catch your own fish for dinner, or borrow our kayaks to get close to the water. Or find the book you never got around to read and relax in the hammock, sipping a cold drink - life is pleasant out here. Welcome!
