Vassel Gård is idyllically located by Herandsvatnet. Here you can experience everything nature has to offer. With fantastic hikes in the mountains around the farm, you can experience Hardanger in all its glory. Vassel Gård has its own charm that gives peace to the soul.

Herand is a small village that is bustling with life in the summer. Here, among other things, there is a local grocery store with long opening hours. In Herand you can experience the beautiful landscape park. This is the starting point for the rock carvings and the "Culture Trail" - a walk that includes both great views and interesting cultural history. Herand is also a perfect starting point if you want to visit the Folgefonna glacier or go on hikes such as Samlen.
