Our 4 guests rooms are located in our home and we live on the property but each room is completely private and guests have their own keys for the property. We offer a personal check in and look forward to meeting each guest but after that are just available if you need help or advice. We are located just up the hill from the centre of Paihia with stunning views and a quiet location. Many guests walk down to town through the bush and are happy with the steepish walk back up. If you are arriving by public transport - do let us know so that we can come and pick you up from the bus stop.

We have always worked in the tourism / hospitality industry and continue to love helping people have a great visit to the area.

We are located just up the hill from central Paihia - the heart of the Bay of Islands and the Birthplace of the Nation. We strongly encourage all of our guests to visit the site of the signing of our founding document The Treaty of Waitangi which is just a 5 minute drive or 20minute walk away. We also highly recommend a boat trip out among the Islands where you see even more islands than you can from our accommodation. The can be a half or full day and on sailing or motorized boats. We also have lots of beautiful walking tracks taking a few minutes to a few hours. If you still have spare time we can easily help you fill it with things like Parasailing, kayaking, historical trails, a visit to Russell township, vineyards, wonderful restaurants, a drive to more wonderful beaches, helicopter and small plane flights. We love our small community and beautiful Northland and are happy to help you enjoy your time here.
