Located on the main highway between Queenstown and Te Anau/Milford Sound, Kingston Holiday Park offers motel rooms and historic cottages. Motel rooms include a kitchenette with portable cooktops, pans, a microwave and refrigerator, a wall-heater and a flat-screen TV. Some rooms boast a private spa bath. Bed linen, towels and tea/coffee making facilities are provided. All holiday park guests have access to a fully equipped communal kitchen with cooktops, cooking equipment and a pizza oven. There is also a free BBQ area with gas and a communal coin-operated laundry. Local staff can provide information on activities in the region including hiking and cycling trails. Hire of bicycles, golf clubs and tennis rackets is available from reception. Kingston Holiday Park is opposite the Kingston Corner Shop and Cafe and just 1.2 km from Kingston Golf Course (9 holes). Lake Wakatipu is 500 m away. Queenstown International Airport and The Remarkables Ski Field’s entrance are less than a 30-minute drive from the property.

You will find the tranquil Kingston stream running through the Kingston TOP 10 Holiday Park with lovely sounds of water & birds chirping around you. Surrounding the property is a nature reserve with Lake Wakatipu just a 5 minutes walk away. Head down towards the mountains and an old steam train and carriages, The Around The Mountain Cycle Trail, water-skiing, boating, kayaking and fishing.

Kingston TOP 10 is a convenient stop over for guests travelling to and from Milford/Doubtful Sound. the beautiful Catlin area down south plus Stewart Island- all a must see when visiting the southern end of our beautiful South Island. The town of Kingston is the home to the Kingston Flyer Steam Train and the perfect spot to take a refreshing dip in the lake in the summer months, jump off the wharf with your friends, go kayaking, fishing, rock climbing, walking, bike riding or a leisurely walk around our small township or on the Around the Mountain cycle trail. Kingston has the Kingston Corner Shop & Cafe within a easy 2 minute walk from our park entrance and is open for guest to purchase takeaway food and coffee, off licence beer and wine, ice creams etc plus a limited amount of groceries. Please check for business opening hours online.
Please Note: Kingston does not have a supermarket- please purchase your grocery items before travelling to Kingston TOP 10.
