Al Rawnaq means ‘brightness, beauty, magnificence’. Our cozy 2-Room studio invites with comfort and charm. Where details tells a story of local craftsmanship and sustainability. The dining table, crafted from an old door, painted in the colours Al Rawnaq Studio logo. For the wardrobe, we reused 2 old doors as well. Accessories like dried grain harvested from Waleed's farm, vases repurposed from local honey bottles and the wall decoration above the bed is made from date tree leaves. It infuse the room with a touch of rustic elegance and local atmosphere.
Unwind in the bedroom, complete with 3 beds, or relax in the living room, featuring a small
pantry for your convenience. The real showstopper? Look no further than the living room window, offering a picture-perfect view of Jebel Shams, Oman’s Majestic Summit. Let the
beauty of the highest Mountain in Oman take your breath away as you make yourself at home.

Hi! We are Waleed and Marita, your hosts. Waleed is local from Al Hamra and lives on a farm with his family. Marita is from the Netherlands and she fall in love with Oman since 2022. So we are here to meet and assist you, in real person or online. Whether you have questions about activities in Al Hamra (or surroundings), your upcoming plans, guiding & tours, hiking, transport and everything in between – Ask away!
