Sand Delight Camp is located in the desert of Waheba Sands in Oman. It is surrounded by sand dunes. Free tea and coffee is provided throughout the day. Guests can enjoy traditional Arabic Bedouin cuisine daily. After dinner, sit by the fire of the camp and stare at the sky stars. It offers traditional Bedouin tents with authentic Bedouin experience. Guests can enjoy breakfast and dinner buffet served everyday in typical traditional style. Any other activities, such as wandering around the sand, hiking, nearby cities, visiting heritage sites, sand skiing, camel riding, desert safaris, desert trips, camping and other activities at an additional cost. Sand Delight Camp is a 10-minute drive from the village of Al Wasil and 180 km from Muscat International Airport.

Om firmaet
We are a team from a Bedouin family that has worked in desert tourism and camping since 2000. We know the area well, and I have experience with the terrain and how to deal with it, in addition to the customs and traditions of its people. I started at Sand Delight Camp in 2009 and gradually expanded.

You will enjoy the Omani heritage and culture in our camp with modern comforts in a beautiful and peaceful seclusion. The camp is an ideal place to explore Omani desert life, culture and beautiful wildlife and gives you a stark and contrasting desert experience. The accommodations and services we offer are perfect for relaxing and enjoying the serene desert atmosphere. Sand Delight Tourism Camp is designed in the style of a traditional desert village with state of the art facilities. The camp has stunning open spaces, where you can watch gorgeous sunsets and sunrises over the dunes. You will feel that you are living life within the Bedouin culture in our camp.

Please note that if you do not have a four wheel drive please inform the camp in advance and preferably two days before. To arrange for you to transfer back and forth by SUV from the entrance to Al-Wasil area to the camp at an additional cost.
If you have a four-wheel drive you can access the camp directly and follow the signs to the camp. Please note that tire pressure should be lowered in the Wasel area before going to the desert.
