I'm an American living here in Samal for the past 10 years. I have also traveled extensively throughout The Philippines. I own and operate Davao Tropical Adventure Travel and Tour. We specialize in Samal/Davao City tourism for the foreign tourist.
Before moving here to the Philippines, I lived 9 years in China where I also owned and operated a tour company. My experience in the tourism industry, and my knowledge of the Samal/Davao area will help you to make the most out of your visit here in Samal, Davao City, and The Philippines.

Our apartments include a modern bedroom with television, Starlink internet and air conditioning, each with a private bathroom and hot water.
Each bedroom/bathroom has a private entrance, with a panoramic view of our beach area.
Our oceanfront has excellent snorkeling with abundant colorful coral reefs.
We have a large seaside deck and pavilion area that extends out over the ocean, connecting you to our resort's private jeti.
We have all the modern amenities of a Western facility.
Like a true bed and breakfast, you will have use of all the facilities on the premises. You will be a guest, not a tenant. Our facilities included everything you will need for cooking: hot plate, cookware, barbecue grill, brick oven and refrigerator.
Western and Filipino cuisine are available on our menu.
We also have 6 additional apartments suitable for a solo traveler, couple, family or group.

We are located in Barangay Balet, which is a quaint fishing village. We are 2 km from the local fish market. Popular resorts for nightlife are 6 to 8 km away. Babak, the largest town in Samal is 18 km away.
We have several small shops in the neighborhood for snacks and beverages, but Babak is only 30 minutes away by motorcycle taxi. We also have a motorcycle for rent.
We are very near Big Ligid Island, (30 minutes by kayak) and 12 km from Canibad Beach, which is considered a hidden gem here on Samal Island.
