This beach bungalow is right at the edge of a sandy/pebbly beach, so you are soothed by gentle waves. We're far from light pollution so stars shine brightly, and the view of Mayon Volcano is great (except when it's cloudy). The interior is rustic, including use of bamboo and the outer trunk of fan palm trees; the floor is also of wood from fan palms. It is perfect for families or two couples. Each bedroom has a queen bed and a single pull-out bed (extra bed charges apply if more than 8 pax). 2 sets of bunks are in the common area. The indoor bathroom has a shower with hot water, and a bidet for the toilet. The outdoor bathroom is more basic, without hot water or bidet. Access is by 125 steps down from the parking area. Most people will have no trouble coming back up to the parking area, but those with mobility problems or heart conditions might want to consider our other, nearby listing (Mirisbiris Garden and Nature Center). We recently added Starlink satellite internet service, so even though you're far away from the crowding of cities, you can still be connected when you wish.

It's a friendly place and we can help you experience a bit of village life. A real village, not a touristy fake one. The foot of Mayon Volcano is about 5 km away, and you can get a bit closer on an ATV ride, or hike in the Mayon Volcano Natural Park. Unfortunately, climbing to the summit is not allowed. Misibis Bay Resort is an upscale resort about 20-30 minutes further along the same road coming from Legazpi and Sto. Domingo. Donsol and its whalesharks are about 2 hours away. There are many other accommodations much closer to Donsol than ours, but if you want to be immersed in Nature, Mirisbiris can be another stop or even a base for your exploration.
