Our main aim is leaving you in peace to enjoy the countryside and relax, if you do need us we are a phone call away, or by message. The Bungalows are a good retreat to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You can choose whether to switch off completely from the outside world and choose to stay the week just relaxing and not watching tv, just listening to the birds singing. Some travellers find it particularly difficult to adjust to being further away from everything, so if that is the case you can just hop into the car and drive down to the restaurants and to Calheta beach, there you will find the Marina with good restaurants and swimming areas. A drive to Porto Moniz is also a good idea to visit the rock pools, and the restaurants along the coast in Porto Moniz are really good too. Jardim Do Mar and Paul Do Mar are also worth a visit. We leave some tourist information booklets so you can decide where to go sightseeing, if that is your wish :)

Please be aware that a car is highly recommended. The area around the Bungalows is picturesque sunny unspoiled countryside. It is quiet and peaceful, with bird singing and nature all around, with cows peacefully grazing. You are able to go for a levada walk close by, enjoy the sound of the water running down the levadas. Enjoy the beautiful bird singing early in the mornings. We have a delivery car that comes by with fresh bread and other bakery foods everyday from 15:30 Fresh fish everyday from 10:00 am Fruit and vegetables every Wednesday 09:00 onwards Saturdays from 17:00 Meat every Friday between 11:00 and 12:00 We recommend you buying some essentials like food before your arrival, we are a small town and the supermarkets are a 15 minutes drive away. Enjoy being in the middle of nature and seeing all the different and beautiful flowers around. Enjoy the silence and just listen to the sounds of nature all around. Listen to the birds singing and relax while enjoying a glass of wine on the terrace. Enjoy having a barbeque outside. Have a good week away from all the problems of the world and enjoy the beauty around. Enjoy the beautiful and spectacular sunsets.
