Your accommodation is a spacious loft apartment with its own garden and barbecue located on this family farm, 5 km from Tomar. Recently restored, the finishes are of a high standard, with excellent insulation, triple-glazed windows and insulated external doors. The apartment is decorated with a mix of antique and modern furniture to create a serene and welcoming atmosphere. The villa has a kitchenette, private parking, laundry and other amenities and is ideal for those who want to work from home or visit the surrounding area or learn a little about running a farm. A large external water tank allows you to bathe during the summer. Fiber optic Wi-Fi, heating and utilities are included. Available for short or long stays and you can have access to the vegetable garden and fruit for your meals for a small fee. We are an international couple in our sixties who have lived, traveled and worked around the world. We both have decades-long spiritual paths that involve meditation and yoga practices. We have a dog, Sasha, and two cats, Louis and Lua. We are very involved in movements in Portugal around the conservation and restoration of natural ecosystems through a foundation we helped create called Terra Agora. We spend most of our mornings in our garden, producing the food we eat and working with volunteers who come to learn how to farm regeneratively. We enjoy walking and swimming in the nearby lakes in the afternoon and occasionally travel to our favorite beach and inland destinations in Portugal. We like to cook and share our world with other people. In particular, as we have traveled a lot, we enjoy the company of people who are open to sharing their opinions and experiences.

Having traveled the world and much of Portugal, we believe that the area where we live (Tomar and Ribatejo) offers some of the most authentic and traditional experiences in Portugal. Every November we produce our own olive oil; every two weeks we participate in the local market; and monthly we participate in local festivities and other traditional events. Our area offers an ideal location to explore several nearby cities and monuments with short walks and the sea beaches are 1 hour away. Lake Zêzere, where we will swim, is a 10-minute drive away. However, the main reason you might want to come is if you want to experience walking into a vegetable garden and choosing what you're going to eat 20 minutes later. We also offer syntropic agriculture courses for interested parties and friends offering guided tours of the local castle and convent which was the last headquarters of the Knights Templar. We are also situated on the Camino de Santiago and close to several hiking and cycling trails.
