The Metropole is prestigiously located on Lisbon’s main square, Rossio. This boutique hotel features Art Noveau décor and individually stylized rooms, combining original antique furniture with modern facilities. The hotel entrance features a set of nine steps, reflecting the building’s historical character and architectural heritage. To ensure a seamless and comfortable arrival, our dedicated staff is always available to assist guests with their luggage. The spacious rooms of the Metropole have balconies on Rossio Square or overlooking the Carmo Ruins. They are equipped with TV and air-conditioning. Their bathrooms include a bathtub and contain traditional Portuguese hand-made tiles. Guests can enjoy the revivalist ambience of the lobby where the bar serves exclusive Portuguese wine brands. Free Wi-Fi is available in the hotel public areas. The scenic Alfama district, the bohemian Barrio Alto and all the main attractions are within walking distance. Lisbon Portela Airport is 15 minutes away.
