Our cozy cottage was bought by my grandparents, and that was their home up until recently when my grandma moved to a nursery. It was sad that suddenly this postcard house was only used every now and then at weekends. One of these occasions me and my boyfriend really enjoyed staying there, and the idea struck: It’s such a pleasant place! Why don’t we put some effort on fixing and redecorating this place? My grandma loved the idea. So we did. The result is a charismatic but cozy house mixing modern and rustic elements. It features 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms, 2 bathroom, a self catering kitchen, an outdoor pool and a barbecue. The house is surrounded by a unique landscape, and on the next door there’s the thermal spa and a couple of traditional restaurants.

My family is from Algarve and I always had a special connection with this land where I spend all my vacations when I was younger. I'm passionate about Algarve and I believe that Algarve, with its land, culture and people, can really offer you the perfect place to spend your vacations with your family or friends. About me, I love to play basketball and read a good book on the beach or by the swimming pool. I recently had a baby boy and I'm simply loving the experience! We are pleased to share what we like (roots, history, heritage, nature, places, caresses, silences, moments, gathering, family life, simple things) value and make known what the South is different and understand " home "as a place in the world where the walls protect us and the doors and windows open to the universe. We are pleased to welcome our guests and have a great pleasure when we can contribute to "pleasant moments".

Caldas de Monchique is a special place. The scenery is water and green with fountains and small rivers in every corner, in a game of light and shadow between arbutus, pine and chestnut trees. You have a thermal area and you can have a rest near secular trees. Also a family picnic covered in the flowered green, hearing the sound of the water mixed with the signing of the birds. Also you shouldn't miss the flavors of the mountains and the earth: local sausages and honey. Mountains and hills that lead us to cozy valleys and lush flora beauty: Camellias and Acacias or Albardeira Rosa. With its 902 m, you have FOIA, an impressive natural viewpoint overlooking the Algarve and Alentejo in a horizon of sea and mountains. You should check out "Fonte dos Amores" lovers fountain, the chapel, the small river. You can have a very good meal at restaurant 1692 or go to bar "O Tasco" for some local "tapas". In the summer you have diverse animations in villa termal: movies, live concerts, fado, etc. in the main square. Some days of the week you have free “tiborna”: hot bread from wood oven built by my grandfather with garlic olive oil and salt. Delicious!
