Halfway between Lisbon and Santarém, where Estremadura begins to give way to Ribatejo, Quinta do Casal de Santo António, located in the municipality of Alenquer, is a rural property from the late 18th century, whose comfort and family atmosphere make it an excellent destination for some days of rest and leisure. You will also be well settled if you come to work in this region.
Attached to the main residence, the Quinta do Casal de Santo António offers an old housekeeper's house, totally refurbished, with 2 bedrooms, living room, bathroom and kitchenette. It also has at your disposal a TV with box and internet access. Outside, you can enjoy the garden and pool.
"With open doors to welcome those who visit us". This could be the motto of our family and is the spirit and tradition of Quinta do Casal de Santo António.
We like to welcome, share experiences and chat, have a coffee and drink a Port or a popular “ginginha” around the table. We recommend a good restaurant, suggest a visit or a walk, borrow a book with beautiful photos of our country.
Due to its central location and excellent road access, Quinta do Casal de Santo António can be the starting point to visit Lisbon, Cascais, Sintra, Mafra, Santarém, Évora, Óbidos, Nazaré, Alcobaça, Fátima, Batalha and Tomar, some of the main tourist attractions in the centre of Portugal, all within a 30 to 60 minute drive.
Walking around the village of Alenquer and the picturesque villages in search of its rich historical heritage, enjoying nature in pleasant walks in the Serra do Montejunto, visiting the vineyards and the quintas of the region, tasting the wines that are produced there, are some of the activities that you can also do during your stay at Quinta do Casal de Santo António.
