Quinta do Tedo is an award-winning agrotourism that provides accommodation with breakfast included. This 18th Century estate is located in an ecological reserve – Biosphere Certificated -, a unique location in the heart of Douro Valley. Set in the convergence of the Douro and Tedo rivers, provides unique and stunning landscapes. Our guests are offered a special wine tasting – available every day at 18:00 (from 23rd March to 10th November) or 16:00 (from 11 th November to 22nd March). It provides free parking and chargers for electric cars. This unit has a total of 5 bedrooms. They all have beautiful views of the Douro Valley and Tedo River. The rooms contain air conditioning, a fan, a mini bar, a Plasma TV, Wi-Fi access, and a private bathroom with free toiletries. Our guests can enjoy the outdoor swimming pool and relax while admiring the beautiful surrounding scenery. The stay includes a continental and typical Portuguese breakfast, served every morning between 08:30 and 10:30. With the aim of providing a more meaningful and nature friendly experience to our guests, we offer some activities, such as: free access to bicycles to explore the region in a relaxed way; hiking; bird watching using binoculars; boccia field, provision of canoes and kayaks for canoeing (activity only available between March and October and depending on weather conditions). Quinta do Tedo also has a partnership with Irmãos Geadas, holders of a Michelin star, who brought to Douro a signature cuisine in which Portuguese tradition is combined with creativity and innovation. There is so much to do at our estate, located in the heart of Douro Valley and surrounded by the Tedo eco-reserve and Douro River. Enjoy walks, bird-watching, biking, kayaking, our private bocce ball court and pool, a tour and tasting of our winery, a meal in our Bistro Terrace, or simply relax and take in the views with a good book and/or glass of wine.
Our personable and professional team of local Portuguese speak your language and are ready to do everything to ensure your stay with us is a memorable one. Perhaps you'll even run into a Bouchard, the French-American family that owns Quinta do Tedo and is always working on new projects on-site.
Quinta do Tedo is incredibly easy to access (right off the national highway that runs through Douro Valley along the river), features incredible views, and produces delicious Douro DOC wines, Ports and Extra Virgin Olive Oil which you can learn about and purchase on-site.

- Every guest has a guest Special Wine Tasting provided - everyday at 18h00 (23rd March – 10th November) or at 16h00 (11th November – 22nd March). Winery tours and other tastings available upon request.
- Quinta do Tedo also has a partnership with The Geadas Brothers, Michelin star restaurateurs from nearby Bragança, they bring to Douro a signature cuisine in which Portuguese tradition is a combined with creativity and innovation - come delight your palate and reserve in advance by emailing bistroterrace@quintadotedo.com.
- Guests of Quinta do Tedo can relax and enjoy the outdoor swimming pool, which has views over Tedo River and Valley. Free bicycles are provided, for guests wishing to tour the region in a leisurely fashion.
- An array of activities can be enjoyed in the surroundings, including Gourmet Wine Picnics, hiking, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding (available April through September), and bird watching. Kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets and binoculars provided for free. Picnics can be reserved in advance.
