"Casa de la Y" is a traditional Paraguayan home in Encarnación run by mother, daughter and son Yolanda (la Y), Carol and Jorge. The name Y's house was coined by Yolanda's grandchildren who, beginning to say their first words found it easier to keep syllables to a minimum and stick to initials. To this day "Y" still goes by the name "Y". Y's homely guest house is located in a quiet and secure residential neighborhood, perfectly located for visiting the city's major attractions.
