The Casa Bunicilor is a treasure in the Apuseni Mountains. Hidden in a valley, where some farmers use horses and oxen for the forestry work, surrounded by wildflowers and nice smelling herbs, you are on the right place for relaxation and balancing. Geogel is a little town with a small market and the starting point of numerous hiking tours. For bikers we have E-Bikes to discover the area. We are also happy to be visited by off-road fans with their powerful engines. As we are a new renovated guesthouse, we are still expanding and growing. Julian Petrut is a very charming, young entrepreneur, who likes the traditional Apuseni Mountains. He renovated the Casa Bunicilor with his family with heart and soul and that is, what makes this guesthouse in Geogel to the nicest in the surrounding. He is a very sporty man, doing a lot of work on his farm and he has a lot of empathy. We as a team are very proud of our boss, who provides us with a beautiful example with his sustainable way of life.

The Casa Bunicilor is surrounded by forest, flower meadows, animals like horses and cows. The Apuseni Mountains are a hidden treasure with a lifestyle most of us don´t know anymore. The farmers work hard on the field, the women know secret recipes of "How to make cheese" or the traditional soup "Ciorba". Everything is fresh here, the food, the water, the air, the milk, the cheese, the "Slanina" and even the old generation looks very healthy compared to the age. Maybe this is the natural surrounding? Around the Casa Bunicilor you can go for hiking or with the E-Bikes, do an outdoor-barbeque or just relax in the silence. There are many nice views around the corner, so it is not necessary to climb a high mountain;-) On request you can enjoy the Hot Tub on the hill with the view over Geogel, listening to the wild birds, the owls, the wildcats or the cuckoo. For the horselovers we can arrange a carriage ride on request. Dive-in, in the middle of the Apuseni Mountains to feel the freedom and peace, to smell the wildflowers and to stay cool in the middle of rivers and forest. Take pictures of amazing sunsets on top of the hills and enjoy the evening with an open fire and a drink.
