Casa Poveste Pensiunea-Muzeu is located in the heart of Bucovina, at the foot of the Rarau Massif, within a 30 minutes’ drive from Moldovita and Voronet. It includes in its domain, a collection of old wooden houses built in the 19th century. Free WiFi is provided in all rooms. Housed in rustic-traditional houses, the units are equipped with flat-screen satelite TV and private bathrooms equipped with floor heating, shower, hairdryer and free toiletries, slippers and bathrobes. Some rooms have a view to the garden, mountain or lake. All rooms are furnished with objects from the 19th century, gathered from households in Campulung Moldovenesc and its surroundings. The wooden exterior appearance of the houses have been completely preserved, with each house representing a type of traditional wooden house from the region. The on-site restaurant provides a buffet breakfast with traditional Romanian food, made from local products. Dinner is served with freshly made homemade dishes, as per traditional recipes, specific to the Bucovina area, and served with the local drinks. Withing the property's area there is a lake with water lilies, where fishing is allowed. Guest can enjoy the on-site adventure park, which includes workshops and zip lines organized for children and adults. A swimming pool is 50 metres away, while a bus stop can be reached within 500 metres and the closest train station is 1.5 km from the property. Cheile Moara Dracului and Raraul Ski Slope are within 6 km from the property, while Codrul Secular Slatioara is 13 km away.

We are a family that loves the past and that tries to preserve the values of Romania of the past. Out of the desire to show the life of the middle class in 19th century Romania, we gathered in about 40 years of passion, everything we present to you in the pension.
Impormasyon ng accommodation
The Traditional Guesthouse Casa Poveste located in the heart of Bukovina, at the foot of the Rarau Massif, on the Sandru Valley Pension is a collection of old wooden houses built in the 19th century and repositioned on our property. Rooms are furnished with objects from the same period, gathered from households in Campulung Moldovenesc and its surroundings.
The exterior appearance of the houses has been completely preserved, and the wood from the constructions is over 90% original, replacing only rotten wood. Each house represents a model of wooden house (archetype), we currently have 4 out of 7 archetypes.
The Pension-Museum Casa Poveste domain has a lake with water lilies, where you can fish sports and Adventure Park with workshops and zip lines organized for children and adults.
Our restaurant is closed circuit with breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is on the Swedish buffet system with goodies from Bucovina (ex. Poale-n brau muffins, Romanian cheese, meat made at Casa Poveste, vegetables from our own harvest).
Dinner has a set menu with freshly made homemade dishes according to traditional recipes, specific to the Bucovina area, served with the local drinks.

We are located on Valea Sandrului, one of the 7 valleys on which Campulung Moldovenesc is located, at the entrance from Suceava.
It is a quiet valley and isolated from the hustle and bustle of the city. Along the valley a few more gueshouses houses and holiday homes exist. Casa Poveste offers our guests an oasis of peace in the middle of nature. Nearby we have Cheile de le Moara dracului (5km), Codrii seculari from Slatioara (9km), Rarau ski slope (5km) and Rarau Peak with Pietre ale Doamnei (16km).
