Dorul Pescarului is a different destination. Located on Vâlsan River, in the hilly area between Curtea de Argeș and Câmpulung, this place is not just a destination meant to impress those who love fishing. Dorul Pescaruluiis a place where the tourist finds the peace and beauty of the nature. The lake, river, forest, pastures with their fauna and flora will fully contribute to that. We cook with soul If there is something that will make you remember intensely this place, that is the food. It is not just a passion of ours, but a sum of years of experience. Dorul Pescarului is a place where we cook by old recipes and techniques with natural ingredients (like the fresh fish from our lake). Here you can eat duck, cooked in a pot, on the stove, fish soup cooked on trivet, fish on hot coals, sarmale smothered in a brick-oven, fresh cheese pie prepared in the area.

The nature Dorul Pescarului is far from the villages and towns in the area. It is protected on one side by Vâlsan River and on the other by a lake. As far as you can see, there is only greenery, pastures, forests and further in the north, Făgăraș Mountains. Drawn by water, here come a lot of birds. Deer and sometimes wild boars often come on the western side of the lake. The silence, the harmony, the chromatic balance charge you no matter how little time you spend here. The activities Dorul Pescarului is the ideal place both for those who love adventure (activities in nature, the exploration of new places) and those who prefer the joy of sitting inside, in a cozy place and contemplate nature. The main activities that can be done in nature are: fishing, including fishing in ice hole, hiking in nature, easy or for advanced (we also organize climbs on Moldoveanu Peak), boating or kayaking. For those who are comfortable, there is the possibility to enjoy the fitness room, the indoor swimming pool (under construction), car rides, painting or music workshops.
