Located on a small island in Tulcea, Hotel Insula offers air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi. The on-site restaurant serves Romanian cuisine. The city centre is 2 km away and the hotel is directly at the shore of the Ciuperca Lake. All rooms feature a flat-screen cable TV, wooden floors, a minibar and windows with mosquito nets. A bathroom with free toiletries, a hairdryer and a shower is standard in each room and some rooms also have a seating area. A public outdoor swimming pool, the train station and the local marina can all be reached within 2 minutes on foot. Packed lunches are available on request at Hotel Insula. A wide range of different drinks is served in the on-site bar, and you can also dine on the hotel’s terrace. Children can have fun on the playground. Hotel offers limited private parking at an additional cost. The Celic Dere Monastery is a 20-minute drive away.
