Situated in a pedestrian area inside Cluj-Napoca's mediaeval city wall, Hostel Retro offers 24-hour reception, free bicycles, as well as a sauna for a surcharge. The bathrooms are either shared, located next to the rooms, or en-suite. Different maps of the region and international telephone cards are provided at the reception. Safe luggage storage is available. The shared lounge features a smart TV and a small library. Guests of the Retro Hostel can also prepare food in well-equipped shared kitchenettes. Free tea and coffee is offered and so is free WiFi. Hostel Retro is a 2-minute walk from the Main Square and 500 metres away from the Babes-Bolyai University, the second largest university in Romania. Guests can also visit the Museum of History, the Botanical Garden or the Ethnographic Museum of Cluj. Someseni Airport is 7 km and the train station is a 25-minute walk away. Guests staying 3 or more nights can use the on-site sauna for free.
