In Sweden's southernmost WILDLAND, you will find long and varied trails for hiking, cycling and horse riding. Halen is Blekinge's largest lake. Blekinge serves up magnificent coastal nature, culture and Karlskrona World Heritage Site. Modern 110m² holiday home with 3 sleeping rooms for max. 5 people. A large, bright and open living area and a sunny balcony invite you to get together in a cozy atmosphere. In the evening you can enjoy a beautiful sunset. The largest lake in the region, the Halen, is only 3.5km away and the Baltic Sea is 15km away. Jämshög is located in the borderland of Skane, Smaland and Blekinge, east of Kristianstad. The house is solidly built and winter-proof. The kitchen is open and adjoins the living- and dining room. There is a dishwasher, electric stove with oven, large refrigerator, large freezer, microwave, air fryer, coffee machine, toaster and kettle. There are 3 sleeping rooms uppstairs and a bathroom with window, sink, toilet and shower cubicle. You have a radio with CD-player and TV with VHS-Player only (just german & swedish videos) and many games, puzzles, books and toys. Our holiday home is located on the outskirts of a smaller town, in a quiet settlement with holiday homes and property that is inhabited all year round. The property borders on the back of a forested area of ​​the former Hembygdspark, in which the houses were built. The ICA, the pizzeria & bus stop in town (approx. 700m), as well as the playground and the hiking trails into the nature reserve are easily accessible on foot

In Olofström, only 4km away, you will find Lidl, ICA, Willys, pharmacy, bank, cafes and restaurants, medical centre, 8 electric charging stations, a swimming pool with sauna, a bowling hall, mini golf and a riding hall. At the Halen campsite you can rent a boat, kayak and bicycles cheaply. In the summer there are many markets and music events in Holje Park, mostly on the weekends and a large fair in July. There are various swimming areas with flat banks and jetties, sandy beaches, green areas and play and barbecue areas that are well suited for small children. There are short and longer hiking trails around the Halen lake area, some well suited for bicycles, some with lighting. The Halen is a good fishing area for roach, perch, bream, ruffe, pike, trout, rainbow trout and eel (a combination ticket for the entire chain of lakes is available). You can fish for free in the Baltic Sea, and salmon fishing in Mörrum is also popular. There is a lot of forest in the area with plenty of berries and mushrooms. There is also a long-distance hiking trail, the Blekingeleden through the region’s varied terrain 270 kilometre. Beautiful bathing bays on the Baltic Sea beach can be found in Norje and Valje, parking is free there. There is a lot to explore, some of it is free like the adventure playground in Olofström. The nearest towns Mörrum, Sölvesborg, Bromölla and Karlshamn offer good shopping opportunities and many interesting excursion destinations. Kristianstadt has a very beautiful old town, many restaurants, cafes and shops, free museums, a theater and the Vattenrike Biosphere Reserve. Visit moose park near Markaryd or Eriksberg safari park and one of the many as 47 nature reserves in Blekinge archipelago, which are UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Even a day-trip to Karlskrona World Heritage Site, a historic naval city on the sea with baroque architecture, Blekinge Museum and Marinmuseum, Kungsholm fortress or Drottningskär Citadell on the island of Aspö is intresting.
