The two beautiful houses were built in the 10' and the 20' as private homes. The old charme is still there. Youth hostel with self catering in two fully equipped guestkitchens. Possible to rent bedlinen or bring your own. Pets are allowed. Recycling of rubbish is wanted and encouraged with several recycling stations within the houses.

Cultural evenements, the famous Ölands Skördefest in the end of September, the old windmills, the extraordinary flora (shame on you who digs, they won't grow and thrive anywhere else!) the beaches, the good food, local farm shops, rewarded restaurants, skilled handicraftsmen and -women...No wonder that the King and the Royal Family love to spend time here as often as possible. Their beautiful Solliden Palace is only 1.5 km away. Borgholm is strategically situated right in the middle of the island. Perfect for excursions in every direction.
