We are a small family business that started with our little B&B a few years ago. Even before that, our grand-grandparents who lived in this building always welcomed all kinds of guests who stopped on the way from Vienna to Trieste. As we are only a few minutes away on foot from the famous baroque mansion Dvorec Novo Celje, our property served as an important strategic point in the middle of the Savinja valley, where first hop seedlings were planted and led to the start of beer production and the first brewery Kukec in the valley.

Cute and cosy, B&B Dvorec is located in the middle of the green Savinja valley with a beautiful view of the surrounding hills. We offer traditional Slovenian breakfast with only local, organically-produced ingredients, which is included in your stay. There are great cycling and hiking routes nearby. The ultimate must-see, the Beer Fountain, is located in a 10min walking distance and offers a variety of Slovenian beers on tap. The capital Ljubljana can be reached in 45min. Our name 'Dvorec' reflects the old Mansion Novo Celje, which is located in a 5min walking distance, and was built in the 18th century following the Vienna's Schönbrunn example.

We are only 10min away on foot from the famous beer fountain 'Green Gold' in Žalec (green gold meaning hops, which is the main beer ingredient), the only one of its kind in the world. If you are an eager hiker, there are quite a lot of hiking spots nearby for every taste, as well as great cycling routes throughout our green Savinja Valley. For more advanced cyclists, you can even embark on the cycling trail to the beautiful Logar Valley (Logarska dolina). Cave Pekel is in near proximity, which can be of great interest to the kids as well. For a little city escape, you can drive to Celje (10min), where you can take a stroll around Savinja river and enjoy a drink with a view of the old castle on the hill. Even Ljubljana and Maribor are not far away - 30-40min by car and can be a great day trip. Kotečnik is a famous climbing spot which attracts climbers from all around the world (that are more than happy to get some energy boost at our breakfast in the morning, which keeps them going for the whole day). For all foodies, there is a restaurant Galerija Okusov (which means 'Gallery of Tastes') 5min on foot from us. They are regular participants in the famous Michelin Guide, and are also very famous for the charming weddings on their property.
