It provides guests with everything they need for a comfortable stay. Free private parking in the city center is a significant advantage. Additionally, guests can rent electric bikes and golf equipment here, enhancing their active holiday experience in nature. We are a married couple who decided to renovate a part of our house and start hosting as we are really open-hearted and easy going people and we like to meet new, positive people and share our knowledge about this beautiful part of Slovenia we call home.

You can easily reach us from the Logar Valley or via the highway from Maribor or Ljubljana; from the Ljubljana–Celje highway, Mozirje is only 15 km away. Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport is just 67 km from us. Mozirje and its surroundings were already settled by the Romans over 2,000 years ago. In the 9th century, Charlemagne incorporated our valley into the Holy Roman Empire, and later it was ruled by the Counts of Celje. (In 1241, Mozirje was granted market town rights – guests are usually not particularly interested in this detail, but it can be included if you wish.) Mozirje is nestled among hills and mountains along the Savinja River, featuring the beautiful Mozirje Park – a flower park and open-air museum – just a 10-minute walk from our apartment. Only 3 km away, the gondola leads up to the Golte ski resort, which, in addition to fantastic ski slopes, offers an extensive network of hiking trails for nature lovers, an adventure park, and cycling routes. In our area, you can ski, cycle, hike, stroll along scenic trails, fish, and enjoy local cuisine and homemade specialties. You can also visit the cathedral, the woodworking museum in our valley, and explore the history of Mozirje, including a performance that shows how our ancestors lived 2,000 years ago compared to life today. The Logar Valley, with the source of the Savinja River and the 90-meter Rinka Waterfall, is one of the most beautiful valleys in the Alpine region. Here, you’ll be surrounded by towering mountains and stunning nature, with endless opportunities for recreation and relaxation, just a 30-minute drive from Residence Moritz. Residence Moritz is the perfect place to escape the rush of everyday life and to enjoy the hospitality and wide range of experiences offered by the Savinja Valley.
