I live in Slovenia with my husband and three kids. I am university professor and I love books, history, reading foreign newspapers, cooking, gardening and travelling.
The Villa Hojnik is located near the oldest Slovenian town Ptuj, on a hill above the village Dravci in Haloze and primarily offers a quiet place to relax, away from the hustle and bustle and stress. The large terrace and many windows offer an unforgettable view over the village and the surrounding hills. The place offers many activities for recreation (pool, sauna, cycling, walks, boat rides on the pond, dealing with animals on the ranch - Scottish cows, ducks, chickens, rabbits), river fishing, mushroom picking etc. At the same time, the village is only 10 minutes away from the oldest Slovenian town and half an hour from the nearest Michelin-starred restaurant. The place allows you to explore the region of four countries: Croatia is only 10 minutes away from the house, while Austria and Hungary are a good half an hour away. It is a unique villa surrounded with greenery of meadows and forrests in a peace that is already hard to find today.
