Stafford Lodge is a family-owned lodge, established in 2016. The Lodge is located outside of Freetown, nestled in the countryside, centrally located and minutes from popular locations such as the US Embassy, The Cotton Tree and Leicester Peak just to name a few. Relax after a long day in your spacious room equipped with split inverter air conditioner. Every room is equipped with a flat-screen TV w/remote. An inn style room that offers a refrigerator, an alarm clock radio and your private bathroom includes an enclosed walk-in shower, fresh towels and individually wrapped guest soap and daily housekeeping. Keep in touch with our complimentary WiFi and cook to order breakfast is included in the room rate. Stafford Lodge is a smoke-free property.

Stafford Lodge is the vision of Stafford Turay. Stafford grew up in Makeni and moved to the United States in 1991. On a trip back to Freetown for the death of his beloved grandmother Alice he stayed at a hotel and felt that he could provide a reasonably price hotel and provide all of the amenities that a larger hotel chain would provide but at a reasonable price. He also wanted to provide employment opportunities to citizens of Freetown. He enlisted the help of his brother and began building Stafford Lodge. Stafford Lodge opened its doors in 2016 and in September 2019 Stafford relocated to Freetown with his wife and young daughter to devote all of their time and energy in running Stafford Lodge with his brother Sulaiman. Stafford, Sulaiman and Dori are committed to do everything it takes to make sure that you are 100% happy with your stay.

The Lodge is located in the Hills of Imatt. Our lodge is off of a main road nestled in the countryside and the atmosphere is very quiet. All of the hustle and bustle of busy Freetown is far from Stafford Lodge. We are centrally located and minutes from popular locations such as the US Embassy, The Cotton Tree and Leicester Peak just to name a few.
