Hosting is personal for me. This property was developed together with my family and named after my aunt, Ivy. I enjoy creating spaces where guests feel both at home and inspired — with attention to detail, design, and hospitality. My background is in forest management, but I’ve always had a passion for travel and real estate. I love meeting guests from around the world and sharing the unique character of Suriname while ensuring every stay is smooth, comfortable, and memorable.

Ivy’s Place is located in a calm residential street in Paramaribo, with easy access to both the city center and nearby shops, restaurants, and services. Within a short drive, you’ll find local eateries serving Surinamese and international cuisine, lively markets, and cultural highlights. Paramaribo’s historic inner city — a UNESCO World Heritage Site — is close by, with its colonial wooden architecture and waterfront. At the same time, the area is safe, peaceful, and perfect for unwinding by the pool after a day of exploring.
