A large 6 bedroom villa in a private hilltop location with panoramic seaviews. Baan Kimsacheva is entered down a smooth sandstone staircase leading from the carport, past a waterfall onto the main living platform. The lounge room is fully equipped with a flat screen TV, satellite channels and are designed for relaxing with comfortable oversize armchairs. Large glass doors open right back to merge the internal living space with that outside. Moving down to the lower platform guests will find a 15m infinity edge swimming pool, dining terrace, poolside lounge, and fully equipped kitchen. Above the main living space are three of the six bedrooms, including one master suite with a private terrace and views over two of the island's coasts. The suite's en-suite bathroom leads onto its own private courtyard with a huge terrazzo bathtub set amongst the palm trees. There are several beaches in the area, including Choeng Mon Beach and Samrong Beach, both of which provide visitors with shallow waters for wading around and very peaceful surroundings. Only 15 minutes drive away, Bophut Beach is also very popular with its Fisherman’s Village. Old wooden shop houses add to the charm of the street, where you’ll find fashion boutiques, restaurants and dive shops. Every Friday night, the main street is turned into a pedestrians-only market. Packed with bars and clubs, the busy town of Chaweng comes alive at night till the early morning. There is also the Samui Elephant Sanctuary, which is a haven for elephants, just enjoying life in their natural habitat. These include rescued elephants that were previously exploited by the tourism and logging industries. See the “Grandpa and Grandma” rocks also known as the Hin Ta and Hin Yai Rocks which are rock formations that resemble the male and female genitalia. Lastly, visit Wat Phra Yai (also known as Big Buddha Temple) and Wat Plai Laem temples.
