A private beachfront condo is called VIP Condochain Rayong located on Mae Rum Phaeung beach which is 14 km away from Rayong city. The place is only 6 km from the Ban Phe Pier to Koh Samet (Samet Island), 60 km from Pattaya, 80 km from U-Tapao Intl. Airport, 200 km from Bangkok. Mae Rum Phaeung beach is white sandy and quiet beach which stretches 10 km long. Morning jogging and afternoon sun bathing are the ideal get away at the beach. A nice local Thai restaurant is at the front of the place. Another Italian restaurant with GREAT pizzas is next to it. Local pharmacies, 7-11 and convenient stores are just 3 km away. Ban Phe where you can find fresh tropical fruits, great food and souvenir is only 6 km away. From there you can take a speed boat to Koh Samet (Samet Island) which take roughly 15-20 mins. Supermarkets like Makro, Tesco Lotus and Big C are also located in Ban Phe area. Local taxi and rental car or motorcycle can also be found in front of the place with reasonable price (only 300 THB/day for motorcycle). A modified motorcycle can hold up to 5 people with ease.
