We stumbled across this lovely spot four years ago. Our first idea was to use it as a weekend get-away from our hectic Kampala lives but soon we realized we love to have something going on. We are running Banda Island Resort and Campsite (on Ssese islands) and enjoy interacting with guests. So the NileIt campsite idea was born.
First we planted dozens of trees and created gardens with hundreds of plants. We made a posh gate, a nice thatched roof terrace with viewing platform and a really beautiful bathroom. We have a chef on-site who prepares good food and a hostess who will take care of you. Most likely you will us meet there as well. :-)
We are looking forward to share our beautiful place with you!

NileIt is a little paradise along the banks of the River Nile full of flowering plants, teeming with bird life and with a one in a million view on the River Nile. The sound of the rapids, frogs, crickets and birds is all you hear.
NileIt it is the place where you can relax or get all active. We can organize cycling and hiking trips, rafting, tubing and wild water kayaking, and have a whole array of outdoor and indoor games waiting for you.
You can choose to come and pitch your own tent (book an empty lot) or enjoy the luxury of lazy camping. We have three types of tents: family tents, standing height tents and trekker tents. Check the pictures of the accommodation options.
We serve coffee/tea, cold drinks, snacks, and also nice meals including vegetarian and vegan options. Nothing fancy - just good food. Please note that the price includes breakfast!

NileIt is located in the small village Nankwanga - only 1 Km from the Highway - about 25 minutes away from Jinja town - the adventure capital of Uganda.
