Contigo Ranch is one of the best kept secrets in the Texas Hill Country. Our four-hundred-acre working ranch is home to five historic log & limestone cabins and ten contemporary cottages all designed in a contemporary-rustic style.
The Bluff is where you can view the entire ranch and surrounding countryside. And is the location where many couples marry throughout the year as we host weddings and receptions in our Contigo Ranch Event Hall.
Feel free to fish in our catch & release lake; bring your fishing pole; walk, jog or hike the property.
Be sure to look for our seven Watusi. They have a typical cow-type build, being a cross between an ancient Egyptian breed of longhorn cattle and Zebu cattle from Pakistan and India. They are well known for their impressive, upturned horns which can reach six feet in length.

Contigo Ranch is approximately six miles from Enchanted Rock State Natural Area...a must-see if you've never been. And approximately twenty miles to the famous town of Fredericksburg where you will find dozens of art galleries, wineries, breweries, distilleries and exceptional restaurants. Fredericksburg is a very friendly town but we think you won't want to leave the ranch once you're here! Be sure to drive or hike to The Bluff The stunning panorama is a view of the entire ranch and beyond; many couples marry at The Bluff throughout the year.
