This lovely Craftsman-style vacation home on Orcas Island is a little piece of paradise located in a peaceful, quiet community. Influenced by the Arts and Crafts design movement of the early 20th century, the interior is open and warm, with hardwood floors, stained glass accents, and exposed woodwork. A pleasing spot both inside and out, up to six guests will greatly enjoy a stay at the aptly named Whispering Pines Retreat. The main floor is a bright and light filled open concept living room, dining room, and kitchen with ten-foot-high ceilings. The living room includes large windows and Mission-style wood furniture with comfortable cushions, colorful throw rugs, and a beautifully tiled gas fireplace. Pick a cozy spot to settle in, choose a book or game from the many shelves, and relax. There is a stereo with an iPod dock, a smart TV with Roku streaming channels, and a DVD player, so you'll have no shortage of entertainment for those cold, stormy days. Free WiFi is available in case you need to check work emails, research possible island excursions, or find a new salmon recipe for dinner. The home itself is well-equipped to entertain you both indoors and out! There are also two kayaks, tennis gear (two rackets and balls), a large beach umbrella, beach chairs, water vests, beach towels, and four adult bicycles to make the most of your time outdoors. The fully equipped kitchen has butcher block counters, colorful coffee mugs, and a cookbook collection for culinary inspiration. All the appliances, dishes, and utensils you need to create tasty vacation meals are right at your fingertips. Appliances include a coffee maker, coffee bean grinder, coffee press, slow cooker, pancake griddle, and popcorn maker. The nearby dining room is open to the living area, making it easy to spread out and socialize. Glass French doors off the dining room lead out to a large deck, perfect for relaxing and enjoying your vacation.

No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to 3,000 dollars of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
