The Inn at the Oaks is a charming 13 room Inn located in Cape Cod’s historic Eastham, MA. We offer spacious and light-filled accommodations, delicious continental breakfasts, thoughtful amenities, and an unfaltering attention to detail that will ensure your Cape Cod vacation experience will be cherished for years to come. We have a variety of rooms that will suit every taste and budget. Our four suites are perfect for longer stays, and the nine rooms in the Main House have many special features like a fireplace, a wood stove, a private porch, or a soaking tub. Built in 1870, the Inn has been serving guests since the 1920’s, when naturalist writer Henry Beston periodically stayed at the Inn while writing the Outermost House, the book that was the inspiration for the creation of the Cape Cod National Seashore.

Eastham is the “Gateway to the National Seashore” where you will find forty miles of pristine sandy beach, marshes, ponds, and uplands. Lighthouses and wild cranberry bogs offer a glimpse of Cape Cod’s past. Swimming beaches and walking and biking trails beckon every visitor with an appreciation for nature’s great gifts. The Inn is across from the National Seashore’s Visitor Center, and we are an easy drive from historic towns like Chatham, Orleans, Wellfleet, and Provincetown, where you will find a diverse mix of shops, restaurants, theaters, galleries, and so much more.
