Originally established in 1905, the Hotel Seward offers a range of accommodations including 38 renovated guest rooms with private bathroom and 23 European-style units with ensuite or shared bathroom options allowing guests to experience the hotel’s historic charm. Located in the heart of downtown Seward, the Hotel Seward is a short walk away from the Alaska Sealife Center, restaurants, and shops. Rooms at the Hotel Seward are simply furnished with a mini-fridge, coffee maker, flat screen TV, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Complimentary parking is available. The Fifth Avenue Bistro & Bar at the Hotel Seward is open for dinner where guests can enjoy a variety of fresh Alaskan-inspired dishes. The Hotel Seward offers a complimentary hotel shuttle to the Alaska Railroad Seward Depot, Park Connection drop off at the Gateway Hotel, Small Boat Harbor, and Seward Cruise Terminal. Exit Glacier, part of Kenai Fjords National Park is 12.5 miles away from Hotel Seward. Guests can stop by the front desk for assistance in planning various activities such as fishing charters, glacier and wilderness cruises into Resurrection Bay and Kenai Fjords National Park, kayaking tours, and more! While we love animals, our hotel is pet-free.
