From our start as a tavern in the late 1700s to the picturesque retreat of today, we grew along with our village, passing through the hands of influential figures in the Berkshires. A haven for rest and inspiration, we invite you to add your own chapter to our ongoing story at The Dewey.

We are just a couple of blocks away from downtown Historic Lenox, which has a great restaurant scene and of course, Tanglewood, the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Just across the road from the Inn is Kennedy Park which is great for dog walking, jogging, hiking, snow shoeing and cross country skiing. Edith Wharton's home, The Mount is just a few minutes away by car, as are many other cultural and historic attractions nearby.
