Beautiful garden cottage, centrally located in residential neighborhood. Our garden cottage is surrounded by a lush garden, softly lit at night and with tables and chairs for reading and relaxing. The cottage is very comfortable, with a seating area, a large closet and a kitchen with a view to the garden and 2 tables. The cottage is detached from the main house and its access is by a a charming trail that goes by the side of the main house. There are birds, butterflies, lizards and the occasional kitty coming to visit. We are walking distance to the Marlins ball park, extremely close to all interesting areas of the mainland: Downtown with the PAMM and the science museum, Wynwood with its vibrant art scene, the Design District and its gorgeous stores, Brickell Center and wonderful architecture, the river with extraordinary restaurants, and Little Havana with its color rhythm and music, You will be about 8-12 minutes from south beach ( traffic allowing), 15 minutes from Key Biscayne and the light house and parks and 20 minutes to beautiful shopping at Merrick park in Coral Gables.
I am very respectful of my guests' privacy but I am always ready and willing to suggest good restaurants, attractions, museums, places to listen to live music, off the beaten places in Miami and much more. I love to host. My house is open to guests from all over the world and of any religion, color, ethnicity or sexual orientation. We embrace the differences that makes us unique as human beings and I am firm believer in kindness and paying forward. I will do everything possible to make your stay a memorable one. I love Miami and know it pretty well. Many have come in as guests and left as friends and you can always count on me to help you with any issues or problems you might encounter while on your vacation.
Our neighborhood is completely residential. We have a beautiful green canopy ( a bit affected by Irma the last hurricane) and it is very peaceful, We have a drugstore, a convenience store, a sandwich shop and a fast food place all at walking distance. Just over the bridge we have a fantastic food hall- Jackson Hall- with amazing healthy and delicious food in an open space beautifully decorated. We are located half a block from the Marlins Ballpark and across the river from the health district.
