With a maximum of 10 guests per camp this ensures that each guest receives individual attention. For some the vast tranquil expanse surrounding Buffelshoek, where the elephants, rhinos and buffalos roam, restores their soul. A place where the stars shine brightly and you fall asleep to the sounds of the whooping hyenas or the not so distant roar of the lions. Unfenced from the bush, animals move freely through and around the camp. With guided game drives at sunrise and sunset and regular game sightings in the camps, this is a true safari experience. Under the careful watch of the resident guides it is not uncommon to see the Big 5 over a period of 3 days.

A graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand, my first position was at the University of Cape Town as a lecturer in Urban and Regional Development. A long-time passion of mine is to facilitate upliftment of the disadvantaged communities in our country. Our staff are drawn from the 9 villages that border Manyeleti Game Reserve with the objective that they should benefit from the Tourism Industry. To further benefit the wider community, 10% of our turnover at Buffelshoek is allocate for community projects and upliftment.
