Diamond Vault Mountain Cabins are situated on the highest point of the only hill in Hogsback. This makes for spectacular views of the lake and local villages below, as well as surrounding mountains which Hogsback is named after. The property happens to be exactly 1300m above sea level and is therefore amongst the first to have snow when in season.
Being only 3.2km from “town” behind ‘Starways Art Centre’, it is a scenic 2-minute drive to the local shops, restaurants and curio stalls. Diamond Vault Mountain Cabins occupy the upper section of a 12 acre “old woods” natural forest. The property has its own natural mountain spring and was previously known as ‘Wienerwald’ which is a forest sanctuary in Vienna. Hiking available below the cabins.
The Eucalyptus trees being amongst the largest and tallest in Hogsback are frequented daily by the protected Hogsback Cape Parrots and under observation by the CPP. These majestic parrots arrive in big groups and roost communally in the large Eucalyptus trees.
