Offering daily game drives into Addo Elephant National Park, 8 km away, this Colonial-style house has 2 outdoor pools. With free Wi-Fi, its stylish rooms are in thatched cottages in the garden. Opening onto a private veranda or courtyard, each individually decorated room at Elephant House features a wooden ceiling. All are air conditioned and include a seating area with Persian rug. Breakfast is served daily and light lunches can be taken on the terraces or by a pool. In the evening, 3-course candlelit dinners are accompanied by Cape wines. 24-hour room service is available. Several covered terraces overlook the garden, each with sofas and antiques. There is a children’s play area and Club Room with a DVD player and games. Elephant-back safaris can be arranged. In the Sundays River Valley, Elephant House is 34 km from Kirkwood Golf Club. Transfers are available from Port Elizabeth Airport, 58 km away. On-site parking is free.
