Waterside Lodge is your comfortable, welcoming home from home. Our mission is to make our guests feel extra special, as we welcome you into our beautiful, well-appointed rooms with crisp linen, fluffy towels and luxurious amenities. Enjoy the gorgeous river views in utmost privacy from your exclusive balcony or patio. Relax and unwind as you enjoy the bird life in our lush garden and let the sound of the waves lull you to sleep. Wake refreshed to watch the morning migration of the egrets up the river. As an optional extra, we will deliver to your room a continental breakfast basket, which you can enjoy on your private patio. We look forward to hosting new guests and are always delighted to welcome back friends from past visits.

Waterside Lodge is a perfect base for exploring the many recreational activities which Wilderness has to offer. For the more energetic, there is hiking, canoeing, paragliding, surfing, water-skiing, cycling and more. Birdwatchers are spoilt for choice and walking trails and river cruises provide ample opportunity to explore the natural beauty of Wilderness. Various local markets in the area offer delicious cuisine and tasty treats as well as crafts, gifts and souvenirs. A day trip to Oudshoorn and a visit to the Cango Caves is also not to be missed.
