The location with an exceptional view on colorful mountains, the general atmosphere and decoration of the place, which has nothing to do with a hotel atmosphere as it is a house, full of plants, with a big veranda, rooms with a large terrace, very comfortable beds, bathroom without forgetting a delicious and generous breakfast with home-made bread and jam with a big fruit salad. The kindness and quality of attention of Teresa makes the difference too.

The hostal is at a perfect location, on top of a hill looking over the multi-coloured mountains. The staff - all of them - are genuinely amazing. We initially booked 2 nights, but we both got sick so had to stay longer, and it was the perfect place to do so. The staff checked in on us multiple times a day to see if we needed anything or if they could do anything for us 🥹 for which we are forever grateful. The room was very very clean, and got cleaned every morning. The shower is hot and has good water pressure and the beds are very comfortable. As others already stated, this was also our best breakfast in 4 months of traveling through South America. There also is a cute rooftop terrace to chill and have breakfast while watching the beautiful mountains. 10/10 I would recommend everyone to stay here!

What a gem this place is. An old farm, beautifully refurnished by Julia and Jose, the owners. Only 4 rooms, all of them exquisitley and yet authentically furnished. But the Highliht is definitely Julia, the owner. We have never met such a nice, warm-hearted and caring person. She is truly interested in the guets´s well-being. She only speaks spanish, but with her - everyone can speak spanish: she takes her time, speaks slowly and tries to use simple words. She has a solution to every question, writes individual itineraries for every guest if needed and furthermore she is a wonderful cook. Unfortunately Purmacara is on the other end of the world for us, but if there is a chance we would definitely come back. Of course for the really impressive and overwhelming nature in this area, but even more for Julia. Thanks for a truly memorable time!

Featuring a panoramic view of the hills and a garden, Hosteria La Morada is a charming inn built in local material such as adobe and decorated with Andean themes. Exceptional! Love this place! Very peaceful, just steps from the downtown. Wonderful sleep in the fresh air and comfortable bed. Little stove top for coffee in morning or quick meal. Highly recommend!

The place is really beautiful. Breakfast was amazing, the room was great, really comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful.
