The location of the guesthouse is great, a few minutes away from the beach. The staff was very friendly. The room was quite small, but had a private clean bathroom. The property was nice with an outdoor area for breakfast and chairs in front of the room. It also has an outdoor protected kitchen that we could use. We had a good stay.

Pousada 277 se găsește în Foz do Iguaçu, la aproximativ 15 km de Itaipu și la 15 km de Cazinoul Iguazu. This Pousada was initially booked purely for its location near the border with Paraguay. The family owners are lovely friendly people who are so kind. When I went out at night, the lady owner waited in the car park to see i got back OK. There is a local bar (Degusta Bar, Rua Carlos Souto Major, 393 - Jd Jupira.) that does just burgers and chicken at a cheap price. Not on Google maps, but turn left onto the road, go up the hill to just before the road junction on the left. Near the border are bars and restaurants with more choice. I stuck with my little bar because I liked it. The breakfast is a continental one with rolls/bread and various meats and cheeses. There are fruit and cakes as well as bite-sized local specialities. As i hate coffee, the best thing at breakfast was a hot chocolate with warmed milk, fabulous. Fruit juices are also offered. I loved my clean, spacious room. Even though the hot and cold shower taps are named the wrong way round. 😁😁😁 The photo is the view from the Poussada veranda across to Paraguay.
