The apartment was very clean and we loved the contemporary design. The family owners were extremely attentive and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We certainly felt like family guests rather than customers. The guest house is situated in a beautiful location on the outskirts of Staufen (20 minute walk with kids) and is very quiet and peaceful. Parking was plentiful and easy. When visiting the area again, we would definitely be hoping to stay here again.

This traditional family run country inn exists since 1810. Landgasthaus Sonne offers a large sun terrace and great views of the Stockerbachtal Valley. We chose a studio. It was a beautiful, new, well organised room with a great kitchenette. It was perfect. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. We didnt eat here but it is very popular so must be good. We appreciated our own space after 2 weeks travelling around Germany and eating out. The town is a short drive away.
