Chente's Place is the place to stay if you're headed to Barra and looking to score. Al is the man. He's down there every day shooting clips of everyone surfing and as a local knows everyone in town and the water. Chente's has super fast Star Link internet if you need to hop online, air conditioned rooms (which you'll need - it's hot), and really good coffee every morning. Couldn't be more stoke to have stayed at Chente's and will be coming back.

This genuinely has been our favorite place to stay in our 6 weeks travel to México, even though we stayed only two nights (it was way too short..). The family that runs the place is incredibly kind and welcoming. They shared Méxican traditions with us, helped us out with a money issue and so much more. If you ever need a place to stay in Mazunte and feel at home, we highly recommend. Also, the room was very clean, included airco, shower cold but you need that in Mazunte and nice hammock chairs to chill in. (Gracias por todos y un día vamos a regresar para hacer atole y tamales ;) )

The location is perfect. Right in the centre of the small Town everything needed is a simple walk away. Perfecto.

Nastanitev Casa H Rinconcito Mazunte je v mestu Mazunte, 5,4 km od znamenitosti White Rock Zipolite in 8 km od znamenitosti Umar University. This was a great family friendly, centrally located, budget friendly hotel. We loved being right downtown in the heart of things! We didn't know it but there is a communal kitchen which would be super nice for longer stays (we only stayed one night). Everything was in good condition, clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't get a room with AC but there were plenty of fans! I'd definitely stay here again.
