Handy to local pubs, but would need a car to get there - handy stop between Belgium and Holland.

The Londerzeel Spa Hotel offers a spa center with outdoor swimming pool (no swimming suits allowed in the spa or pools). The hotel is set in Londerzeel, 21 km from Brussels and 20 km from Antwerp. Many wellness possibilities in these thermae, very good facilities. Very good body massage techniques. Serviceable and friendly staff. Lots of parking possibilities. Very good food in the restaurant for a good quality-price ratio. The beds in the hotel are very comfortable. Open until late.

Large, clean, beautifully decorated, quiet, good food, comfy bed, cycles available for free, room with tourist maps etc. We booked one of the sauna rooms which was fabulous. We used the cycles to go 2km to the local village (all along a flat cycle path) for our evening meal at restaurant Halte22 (this restaurant was much better than its website suggested, we recommended booking, because it was packed).

The room was very spacious, nicely decorated with attention to detail (fire stove, night lights everywhere etc.), the bed was big, the wc were separated and far from the bathroom and bed, giving some privacy. The spa was offering a wide range of "activities", it was clean and relatively quiet although busy. The staff was very kind and accomodating.
