The resort itself is stunning, with beautifully maintained, elegant facilities and a level of cleanliness that stands out. A special thank you to Ahmed Galal, the Reception Manager, whose warm welcome and thoughtful gestures made our stay extra special. The food at the resort was another highlight — a fantastic variety, delicious flavours, and something for everyone to enjoy. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I’d absolutely recommend it for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Marsa Matruh with great service and amenities.

The staffs are all very helpful that I feel like home. We join the salt lake tour and city tour. The tour guides are amazing. It’s a calm and quiet place to relax. There is a swimming pool and a hot spring pool. The food is also very nice.

We tried the main restaurant and sofra and a sea food and the in-room dining and all food was delicious - Staff was very friendly and cooperative.

I absolutely loved the magical moments of stargazing at midnight from the hot spring within the lodge. The night sky was simply out of this world (literally), with shooting stars making a spectacular show. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, particularly Lamia, the owner who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The local staff Khaled, Domom, Mohamed were very kind, generous and attentive. The cleanliness and tidiness of the accommodation exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was a delightful with fresh local ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the traditional siwan tea. The morning meal was served in a peaceful setting within a big dom, quite the place. The location of the ecolodge provided a perfect balance of seclusion and convenience. I totally recommend, and definitely will love to visit again.

The hotel is located in a peaceful area, easily reachable from the town and the Amon temple and the Cleopatra pool on foot. The patio is very welcoming and the bedroom has a lot of charm with very comfortable beds. Hot water is also included. The breakfast is excellent. The host is very welcoming and always eager to help you out. I highly recommend this place.

Very nice hotel about 20 minutes from the centre, surrounded by palm gardens. I felt safe walking as a solo female traveller. Spacious, clean room with all I needed. Good wifi, breakfast included, and staff always helpful (also available via WhatsApp). Great value for money.

If you are looking for a place to rest, recharge your energy, and connect with the Sahara, you’ve found it! Karam Camp Siwa is a very safe place, built in the desert. You can reach it in just 20 minutes by TukTuk. The room was clean, and the shower had hot water. The food, prepared by Chef Ahmed, was delicious. Although the camp offers services like desert tours with horses and cars, I didn’t need them because the campsite is located among the most beautiful dunes of the oasis. By walking for just 30 minutes, I was able to explore the lakes and dunes, reaching the highest dune in the region—an amazing spot for sandboarding and capturing breathtaking sunset photos. Beyond all this, the best part was the hospitality of the host, Karam. He is an incredibly honest and friendly person. During my stay, I truly connected with the desert life and its vast beauty. On top of that, my wife and I made wonderful friends here.
