Built in 1925 and classified as a monument, the GDM Megaron is located in the heart of Heraklion, overlooking the old Venetian port and within walking distance of all the major sights of the city. The room , the staff, breakfast and location are excellent . The experience of big spread of superb Breakfast , extremely friendly and very helpful staff is what I liked the most.

Lovely comfy bed with air conditioning. Small kitchen area with a fridge, hob, dishwasher , toaster, kettle and everything you need to prepare a light lunch or breakfast. Small balcony overlooking the outdoor plunge pool/jacuzzi. Good wifi signal. The hosts are extremely friendly and change the bedding and clean the rooms regularly. Decent sized modern bathroom and shower.
